Our Commitment
StorTech Solutions LLC (“StorTech”, “we”) is a UAE-based IT systems integrator serving clients across the UAE, KSA, Oman, the wider GCC and Africa. Our customers trust us with critical infrastructure, and
that trust depends on how we do business, not only on what we
deliver.
We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and
corruption in any form, whether direct or indirect, and whether
it involves public officials or private-sector organisations. We would
rather lose a deal than win it improperly.
Who This Policy Applies To
This policy applies to everyone working for or on behalf of StorTech,
including directors, employees, contractors and anyone acting in our
name, such as agents, subcontractors and resellers.
Legal Framework
We comply with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including the
bribery and corruption provisions of the UAE Federal Penal Code (Federal
Decree-Law No. 31 of 2021 on the Issuance of the Crimes and Penalties
Law), which prohibits bribery in both the public and private sectors. We
also respect anti-corruption requirements that apply to our vendors,
partners and customers.
What We Prohibit
- Bribes: offering, promising, giving, requesting or
accepting money, gifts, favours or anything of value to improperly
influence a business decision. - Facilitation payments: small unofficial payments to
speed up routine actions such as permits or customs clearance. We do not
make them. - Kickbacks: returning part of a payment, discount or
commission to an individual in exchange for business. - Indirect payments: using third parties, family
members or intermediaries to do anything this policy forbids.
No Gifts, Hospitality or
Inducements
StorTech operates a strict no-gifts policy. We do
not give or accept gifts, hospitality, entertainment, favours, or any
other offer or inducement of any kind, whatever its value, to or from
customers, prospective customers, public officials, suppliers, vendors,
distributors or any other party.
This applies at all times, and especially during tenders, bid
evaluations, contract negotiations and renewals. Anyone offered a gift,
hospitality or inducement should politely decline, explaining that
StorTech’s policy does not allow it, and inform management.
Government and Tender
Integrity
In government work and all tenders, we:
- follow the published procurement rules and communication
channels; - do not seek or use confidential tender information we are not
entitled to; - do not offer anything of value to evaluators or decision-makers;
and - submit honest proposals reflecting what we can deliver.
Conflicts of Interest
Employees must avoid situations where personal interests could
conflict, or appear to conflict, with StorTech’s interests or those of
our customers. Potential conflicts, such as interests in suppliers or
family ties to customer decision-makers, must be disclosed to
management.
Fair Competition
We compete on the quality, price and service we offer. We do not
agree with competitors to fix prices, rig bids, divide customers or
territories, or exchange commercially sensitive information, and we
comply with applicable UAE competition law.
Vendor,
Distributor and Partner Programme Compliance
We work with leading technology vendors including HPE, Dell, Lenovo,
Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft and Veeam. We respect the codes of conduct,
partner programme rules, deal-registration and special-pricing terms set
by our vendors and distributors. We do not misrepresent end customers,
projects or deal details to obtain discounts, rebates or incentives, and
we use partner funds only for their intended purpose. We expect our
subcontractors and partners to uphold equivalent standards.
Export Controls and
Sanctions
Many of the products we supply are subject to export control and
sanctions regulations, including UAE requirements and the regulations of
the countries where products originate (for example, US export
controls). We screen transactions where appropriate, do not knowingly
supply sanctioned parties or destinations, and do not help anyone get
around these controls. We cooperate with vendor and distributor end-user
checks.
Accurate Books and Records
All transactions, expenses and commissions must be recorded
accurately. We do not create false invoices, off-the-books accounts or
misleading documentation.

No Retaliation

in bribery or for raising a concern in good faith, even if the concern
turns out to be unfounded.

employment or of a business relationship, and may be reported to the
authorities.

periodically.
