Our Approach to Quality
StorTech Solutions LLC (“StorTech”, “we”) designs, supplies,
implements and supports IT infrastructure for businesses in the UAE,
covering servers, storage, cyber resilience (backup and disaster
recovery), networking and security, Microsoft 365 and software
licensing.
The systems we deliver often hold our customers’ most important data
and run their daily operations. For us, quality means getting it right:
the right solution, genuine products, careful implementation and support
that is there when it is needed. This policy sets out the principles we
work to. It is a statement of our commitments; it is not a claim of any
third-party certification.
1. Customer-Focused Delivery
We start with the customer’s business requirements, not with a
product list. We aim to:
- understand the customer’s environment, objectives, budget and
constraints before recommending a solution; - propose solutions that are appropriately sized, practical to operate
and supportable over their lifecycle; - be clear about scope, timelines, assumptions and costs, and tell
customers early if anything changes; and - give honest advice, including telling a customer when something is
not needed.
2. Genuine, Vendor-Sourced
Products
StorTech is an authorised partner of HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco,
Fortinet, Microsoft and Veeam. The hardware, software and licences we
supply are sourced through those vendors’ authorised distributors and
sub-distributors. We do not knowingly supply counterfeit, grey-market or
refurbished items presented as new. Where applicable, products come with
the manufacturer’s warranty and support entitlements, and software
licences are supplied in line with the vendor’s licensing terms.
3. Experienced People
Our work is carried out by engineers with extensive hands-on
experience designing, deploying and supporting the technologies we
offer, built across a large installed base of clients. We assign people
with the right skills to each project. Where a project needs specialist
expertise we do not have in-house, we tell the customer and work with
vendor professional services or trusted partners.
We invest in ongoing training so our team keeps up with changing
technologies and vendor best practice.
4. Documented Design and
Handover
Good documentation makes systems easier to run, support and grow. For
implementation projects, we aim to provide:
- a design or solution document agreed with the customer before work
begins; - implementation plans covering change windows, risks and rollback
steps where relevant; and - handover documentation recording the as-built configuration and key
settings, a secure handover of administrative credentials, and knowledge
transfer to the customer’s team.
5. Testing Before Go-Live
We test before we hand over. Depending on the project, this includes
hardware health checks, firmware and software version checks,
configuration review, failover and redundancy tests, and backup and
restore verification. For backup and disaster recovery solutions, we
believe a backup is only as good as a successful restore, so restore
testing is a core part of our delivery. Results are shared with the
customer, and go-live is agreed together.
6. After-Sales Support
Our relationship continues after installation. We help customers with
warranty claims and vendor support cases, and we provide technical
support according to the agreed scope or support agreement. We aim to
respond promptly, communicate clearly and follow issues through to
resolution.
7. Supplier Quality
We work with our partner vendors and their authorised distributors
and sub-distributors, and expect them to deliver genuine products,
accurate information and reliable logistics. We check deliveries against
orders, raise issues with suppliers promptly and take supplier
performance into account when choosing who we work with.
8. Customer Feedback
We welcome feedback, positive or negative. After projects and support
engagements, we invite customers to tell us what went well and what
could be better. Complaints are acknowledged, investigated and
addressed, and we let the customer know what we have done.
9. Continual Improvement
We review our projects, support cases and customer feedback to learn
from what went well and what did not. We use these lessons to improve
our processes, documentation, training and the way we work with
suppliers.
Responsibility
StorTech’s management is responsible for this policy and for
providing the resources needed to meet it. Every member of our team is
responsible for applying it in their daily work. The policy will be
reviewed periodically to keep it relevant to our business and our
customers’ needs.
